CODE READER SHOWS FAULT CODE P0025

P0025 Generic Exhaust Camshaft Position Timing - Over-Retarded (Bank 2)

This could possibly be a solenoid problem(part of cam timing). Apparantly these sensors get heat soaked and stop communicating with the PCM . The car shuts down, cools off and then will go again.

We have benz s500 2006. looking for coolan fan

First of all, I don't mean to be a pain, but why are you wanting to "fit" the relay? If you don't know where it is, you could not possibly have tested it. If you have not tested it, then you cannot know with any certainty that replacing the relay will fix whatever problem you are trying to repair. There are a lot of other possible causes if you are trying to fix a cooling fan that won't work.

Please take a few moments to read this article: What Else Could Be Wrong?

With all that said, The relay that controlls your fan motor is the "Circuit 15 Relay". It is located in the Driver's Side SAM Module. It is marked "N" in the picture below.

Trouble with the steering

You might first do a car fax report to see if the vehicle has ever been in an accident...it sounds like the caster has been over compensated for some reason since that is what is important to cause the wheel to return to straight ahead after making a turn.

Is there any way to add an ignition kill-switch on my 2001 Mercedes Benz S500? Battery goes dead after about five days without driving

It is called Parasitic Draw, one item is being left on and is draining power. Attach an ammeter to the battery. Remove fuses one at a time, keeping an eye on the ammeter. When you pull one fuse, you will see the reading drop a lot. That circuit is the one causing the problem. When you know the fuse, you can check all the things it covers. There will always be some draw because items like the clock and a number of modules are constantly powered. In general terms, you can't find work-arounds for problems like this, you have to fix them. Or, you can take the vehicle to a good auto-electrician.

Car engine rough running?

The most common 3 reason why your Mercedes is running rough are a vacuum leak, an issue with the spark plugs, or a problem with the ignition coil. Clean out the throttle body and make sure there is no ware at the butterfly pivot shaft .

On my 2006 Mercedes sl 500 hydraulic fluid leaked from the right roof liner. Now the top will not move anymore. I cannot open the trunk either and I need to get the stuff out of the trunk.

Sounds like you have blown a hydraulic hose that operates the top mechanism. You will probably need to find a local mechanic that is experienced with hydraulic operated tops or a dealership. But check you owners manual. Most manufacturers have a manual way of operating the top to allow you to secure it until repairs can be made.
