If your mobility scooter is experiencing difficulties and not running properly it might be due to a more serious issue. Only an expert can find the true cause of technical issues. Avoid trying to diagnose the cause of the issue yourself. This often leads users to attempt to fix something that doesn't need fixing. It also may make the initial situation worse and more expensive to fix in the long run. Any issues that aren't obvious or easy to fix should be handled by a professional scooter repair technician.
How do I know if my 4x4 buttons on my dash indicators are bad? Or why isnt it turn on?
Unless you have the Adventure Package, you don't have it. You need an auto electrician to tell you what you have and if the buttons are faulty.
If you are on 4 Low, is your top speed 20mph? If you can do 70mph in that hunk-a-junk, you are in High.
Find a dirt road and get some friends to watch . If you boot it, do all the wheels spin, or just one pair?
Those are the easy ways to check.
My 2005 hummer is stuck in neutral. The switch is trying to work but its like its in a bind and wont let it switch. How can i manually get out of neutral.
Chock the wheels. Make sure the ignition is on, but not running. Find the shift cable under the vehicle and disconnect it. Try to shift it from the inside. If you are able to move the shift lever, then there may be a transmission issue. If you cannot move the leaver. Check to make sure something like change or foreign object hasn't made its way into the shift assembly. This requires you to remove the center console. If nothing is in the way. Disconnect the cable from the shift assembly and check to see it moves. If it does. You have a bad cable. If the assembly doesn't move. It may be worn or fell apart and has to be replaced.
My 2006 hummerh3 is overheating while I drive more than 20 miles and is from 3/4 to almost to the heat signal. Replaced thermostat, water pump, radiator, fan clutch, belt, cooling sensor, hoses.
The first big question is the gauge accurate? Is the engine really getting too hot or is the gauge misleading?
The gauge is probably computer driven and can only display the reading provided by the computer based on information it receives from a sensor. Sensors have been known to grow tired...
You have almost overhauled the entire cooling system - there isn't much left.
Overheating is caused by more heat being produced than can be dissipated by the cooling system and possible reasons are insufficient coolant flow through the radiator or insufficient cooling air through the radiator or a combination of both and you seem to have covered these.
When replacing a radiator it is well to have the original rebuilt by a local specialist as they can usually find a suitable core with an extra row of tubes.
It is possible with many engines that when the degassing system becomes blocked bubbles of combustion gas can accumulate around the thermostat and disrupt the proper operation and when a cylinder head gasket begins to fail those gas bubbles can become excessive. If they can't harmlessly rise to the top of the coolant level they can build up and restrict flow and displace coolant and cause hot spots in the cylinder head(s).
Sediment build up in the cylinder block has also been a cause of overheating...
