Sounds like 1 or more of your ground straps from the engine block to the frame either are disconnected or are loose.. I would check there 1st, especially if the engine has been removed and replaced.

There is a metal rod that connects the inside handle to the door latch mechanism. It is locked in place by plastic fasteners. One has fallen off the end of the rod. Opening the door panel requires special tools to prevent permanent damage to the panel.

When the check engine light comes on it disables other module features as a safety issue. The reduced engine power light is normally caused by a defective throttle actuator motor assembly. Unhook connector, remove bolt, wiggle it off, then reverse order to reinstall new one. You need a Tech 2 to relearn/reprogram crank sensor. Most garage mechanics will have one.

I solved my problem by reflashing the computer. You have to go to the Buick dealership and tell them about the issue and they should know how to reprogram the computer. This is not free, so you will have to pay for it.
