Removed lugnuts but a tire will not come off the vehicle . The parking break is off, but the rear wheel will not spin. I turned the ignition on and the parking break light was not on. I lifted the par
rear wheels on saturn's I believe have drum brakes - these can tend to seize up when worn through and the brake shoe rivets start to cut into the wheel housing or if not worn out, just be tight enough to keep wheel from spinning freely. Also the light on parking brake is a simple switch attached to the lever and is not reliable. I've had parking brake cables rust up and seize which can be a pain - generally requires a replacement cable and often the connecting yoke and rods.
As for the wheel not coming off - that's unrelated to the brakes - the brakes act on the actual wheel hub to which the lugs attach the wheel and tire. Many times it is problem of rust and dirt caked up between the wheel and the hub. I'd suggest rapping the wheel with a hammer, go all around the perimeter several times on the back side - use a piece of wood between hammer and wheel to protect the wheel from getting dented - the hammer "shocks" usually will vibrate thru the steel or alloy to loosen caked up dirt and rust. Can't think of much more you can do - maybe others have a suggestion. worst case might be to bring it to a tire shop and pay them $10-$20 to get it off - if it is just for inspection they can put it right back on for you. If you are looking to swap it out with another tire/wheel, then they will charge more since they often ding you for balancing it (which is a good idea regardless).
Can old coolant[8 years old ] cause overheating
Coolant can wear out, so they say. But when tested? First check.. When you turn on the A/C and it is working. The high speed engine/radiator fans should/will come on. If they don't look to the fuses first, then relays and wiring( could be a resistor in there also, I work on to many different ones). Worse case is the PCM.

First you need to look at the OBD Codes you have
Diagnose those codes & component test & find a problem
& correct it & continue on
Without a Professional Scan Tool your at a disadvantage
If you have cylinder misfires that ruined the converter,then
you have to clean that up & test the oxygen sensors or at
least look at the data
I start with Battery Voltage,Module Voltage,Fuel Trim,MAF Data
& then Mode $06 Misfire Data & Cat Temp & on & on
All but the Evap Monitor should run in about 10 to 20 miles
of driving,not 345
You also have Freeze Frame Data at the time the Monitors

So NEVER Clear the check light/MIL Lamp, etc
unless ALL issues are fixed & then only if you have to
Fault Codes you need only appear after a monitor runs,
pass or fail,so forget the battery disconnect or code clearing,
you need that data
It should be at the end of the radiator hose coming from the top of the radiator back to the engine, look for where the hose meets the engine. That thing that the hose is attached to, unbolt it. The thermostat is under it. Make sure that you clean all the old gasket off both the gooseneck and engine. Use sealant to seal the gasket, follow the directions. Make sure the spring side of the new thermostat faces into the engine, and make really sure that you prefill the engine with fluid BEFORE you put the thermostat on.
My 2007 saturn sky brake lights stay on and cruise doesnt work
The brake light switch, located on the brake padal assembly, is and input to the cruise control module. When the switch fails keeping the lights on is makes the cruise control module think you are applying the brakes when infact you are not. Chek the switch wiring for damage and if ok replace the switch making sure you adjust it properly.
2007 SKY STALLING
dirty fuel filter, bad fuel pump or sending unit, improper fuel pressure, fuel injection throttle body loose. See if your car has a fuel shut off solenoid could be bad it is designed to shut off fuel if you roll your car had one go bad on my chevy truck. could also a bad control modulator.
is your steering wheel locked if it is u may want to pull one way and try it and then the other way it will take some muscle
SERVICE TRACTION/SERVICE ESC LIGHT COMES ON
Take it in to see which wheel is throwing the code. Some auto part stores let you use theirs for free. then check for corroded connectors or broken wires at the wheel bearings and speed sensors.
Clean corroded connections with a cleaner such as contax or acid wheel cleaner, then rinse and dry thoroughly and coat the female end of the connection with dielectric grease before reassembly.
