Where is the fuse for the cigarette lighter located in the 2008 mercury sable?

Take a test light and hook the clamp to a "good" ground and the point to each end of every fuse in the fuse box and you will find it .. make sure the key is on tho . If you get power at one end of the fuse you should have power at the other end . If not ,, you found a bad fuse . there could be more bad too . To make it easier I always go up and down each row of fuses so I dont miss any . Chuck

I have a mercury sable year 2008,the left front seat stop heater pad stop working

To install the new heating element the seat covering will need to be pulled apart so that new heater can be installed. you will need to ring the fastener and carefully pull covering back, to have room to remove old one and wires.

I hear a click click click then a pause then click click click again when I go to start my 2008 mercury sable the clicking starts when the accessories are activated right before the motor turns over i

This noise is indeed coming from the dash and it is caused by a part called the air temperature control blend door actuator motor. The noise is a tiny electric gear drive that moves the door and controls air temperature jumping teeth due to a defective sticking blend door inside the air ducting. To replace these parts requires the dash be removed from the car, a 12-14 hour job.

I have a 2008 Mercury Sable that is having break

Take the rotor off and check the ebrake. If the rotor is hard to get off then the ebrake is holding it on and is most likely your problem. It won't be your master cylinder or proportioning valve because it is only affecting one side. Any questions feel free to email me at [email protected]

Controls in the steering wheel

Check your fuse panels for a burnt fuse. I would'nt recommend tearing into the steering wheel itself as you could deploy the airbag causing injury (and to replace one cost big $$$) Mike
