Remove and replace hood latch

too easy. remove the latch, two bolts, maybe three. Pull it up. release they cable to it. You'll see how once up and clear. When setting it, raise the latch to the highest point, shut the hood. Lower it as necessary to make the hood match the other body parts. You don't have much adjustment on these so lower it slowly. If you lower it to low, it will start to get hard to pull the handle, and the hood won't pop up.

My 1999 Lincoln Navigator blows cold in the front and hot in the back, what is the problem

Is the rear HOT, or outside ambient temp? The good news is the A/C seems fine, rather a valve(vent)is stuck. check vacuum hoses. I think you need to do some fault isolation. MIGHT be faster to start from the rear since you know that's the termination point. You could even use some sort of bore scope on the end of a flexible object. Seeing is always the best Dx, IMHO. You can find one on Ebay for $20 or less. Once I acquired it I was amazed at how often I use it, both in the garage and the house. Just cleaned my dryer, and it allowed me to see what was left, which allowed me to concentrate on those areas. Many are also waterproof so you can check out plumbing.

Driver side window wont go up?

If the other windows work, then it has to be in the driver's switch button, or the driver's window motor has given out, or a wire has come loose from the switch to the motor inside the door. Usually you have to take the door panel off to investigate. Can the switch and it's electrical connector be removed from the door panel? If you can get to that, you can use a couple of jumper wires and test the motor for operation...or noise-if it groans or buzzes or clicks a lot, you will have to remove the door panel to get to it for repair or replacement. Has a liquid spilled on the driver's switch? That can disable the switch. The jumper wires (2 paper clips work well) work thus: at the connector you will have a power wire (hot with key on) and a ground wire for the power windows. jumper those two to the two terminals for the driver's window motor, with key on. The window should go one way -either up or down- if you reverse the jumper wires the motor and the window should go the other way. if all works well like that, the motor, window regulator assembly, and the wiring is good, problem is in the switch.

2004 lincoln navigator evap system leak

The P0456 is not your cause here. If there are no other codes present other than the P0456, try unplugging the mass air flow sensor and see if the sputtering goes away and if so, replace the mass air flow sensor. You could also have a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump (low pressure)

2006 Lincoln Navigator hesitation problem

Why are you charged for someone to look at a vehicle? Well-- they have decades of knowledge & training & about $100,000 in tools & test equipment Just like your doctor charges you $220.00 & the staff does most of the work before the doctor comes in & no one questions those fees On that vehicle & that 5.4 V8 motor you had to remove the odd two piece spark plugs the day you brought it home form a dealer or they freeze in the head & about 3 break off There are a couple of tools for removing the plugs They cost about $70.00 & are on amazon & all tool sites That job you can do yourself for the price of the tool Champion makes a one piece spark plug Lots & lots & lots of info on the internet on that spark plug issue All was avoidable if the plugs were replaced the first couple months it was new On to Oxygen Sensors--The front 2 only get replaced at 100,000 miles on ALL Vehicles The COP Ignition Coils on a ford only last 6 to 7 years so their done & most likely have been misfiring for years & RUINED the Exhaust Converter ALL you have been told is true, just not explained properly,or why your not knowing what vehicles require in the way of Preventative Maintenance actually caused the issues As they say, you bought it, you drove it, & it is up to you to use the internet before & during ownership to educate yourself I've typed enough for now & will say the prices you were given were just short of fraud & non sense You can go to Rock Auto.com & look up the spark plugs (champion) Wells Coils (8) & Walker Pipes & Converter if necessary & your around $1000.00 in parts --normal wear & tear actually for an 8 year old vehicle The 2004 thru 2006 5.4 had injector leaking issues Most on the 2005 model year those can ruin a converter IF you PAID a shop once or twice a year to go WITH YOU & your driving & they take along a scan tool to look at data you can stay on top of how the motor runs & (again) avoid most Problems

Shifter stuck in park

Had this happen on 2 separate Ford Explorers. On one the problem was solved by simply pushing on the vehicle and rolling it about 8" until it locked into park. Had to do this a few times when stopped on level ground and the vehicle had not actually clicked into park. Then mysteriously the problem went away. On the second vehicle the device in the steering column that actuates the little stop had to be replaced. We did go ahead and replace the brake pedal switch at the same time just as a precaution. On this Explorer the driver had broken the stop by forcing the shifter out of park. This caused the replacement to be slightly more difficult.
