Low transmission fluid will cause the vehicle not to move. Try filling the fluid and see if it works.

Sounds like you have a transmission problem. Therefore: If I understand you correctly? You may have a plugged filter. Try servicing the trans. EG: Trans filter kit and good quality fluid that meets or exceeds Ford specs. or The converter input shaft in those cars will break leaving no movement,it needs a transmission shop Thanks for contactng Fixya

Disconnect battery from car in order to reset memory on receiver for 10-15 mins. Reconnect and try again. If not succesful, contact your dealership.

22 years of bad parts, random/ gee a shop inspects it all and does all the tests needed to find 22 years of bad bad parts and there will be many. 'why not get car serviced? or post all evidence and symptoms good and bad, both first. then problems are found 1 at a time. one test at a time using tools to find them all, meter and gauges. too. it is a serial process, throwing 100 parts or more will be expensive.

The electrical door jamb switch is located on the latch on the inside of the door. You may be able to get it to work if you spray the latch in the door with WD40 and slam the door a few times, or work the latch open and closed using a screwdriver to trip the latch and open using the door handle. If nothing in the vehicle has power, I would start at the battery. Make sure it's good, check wires from battery- positive and negative, check/clean connections (especially on battery if there is any corrosion), then work your way to the power distribution module. Start at the first known good spot where you test and have power and work your way from there until you find the bad component.

Normal Operation The wrench reconfigurable telltale can be turned on by any one of three modules. The powertrain control module (PCM) provides the electronic throttle control status, the transmission control module (TCM) provides transmission status and the four wheel drive (4WD) control module (if equipped) provides a status of the 4WD system to the instrument cluster. Each module monitors the powertrain for their respective function and provides the instrument cluster with the operating status over the high speed controller area network (HS-CAN) communication bus. When a fault condition exists in any of the monitored systems, the PCM, TCM or 4WD (if equipped) control modules provide the instrument cluster with a message to turn on the wrench warning indicator.
