Removal & Installation

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
   
2. Drain the fuel tank.
   
3. Remove the rear lower seat cushion.
   
4. Remove the fuel pump module cover.
   
5. Remove any dirt that has accumulated around the fuel pump module attaching flange to prevent it from entering the tank during service.
   
6. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connectors.
   
7. Disconnect the fuel pump quick connect coupling from the fuel pump module.
   
8. Disconnect the fuel vapor tube quick connect coupling from the fuel pump module.
   
9. Turn the fuel pump module locking ring using a locking ring removal tool, and remove the locking ring.
   
10. Remove the fuel pump module and disconnect the quick connect fittings from the bottom of the fuel pump.
    

Dirty throttle body or IAC sensor.fuel filter.

you can't for there is none no longer on most cars made from 2003 and up

depends on design on unit, on most you can simply disconnect system power and youre good to go. other in line systems require un installing the unit. either way sounds like the system is causing more problems than its solving. i would suggest removing it entirely

Swap relays under the hood, if it does the exact same thing, get a new ignition switch, or you could go through the tedious task of tearing the whole thing down and ohming out all the contact points and wires

Going to need a wiring diagram or blow up from one, of the ignition switch Then you can use your volt meter in a number of ways to test it
