Yes or a small bypass hose. You may be able to get a loan of a tester at autozone, oreilys, or advance autoparts. You want a radiator pressure tester. Do not exceed the cap rated pressure. When the engine is warm, you can add pressure and look for water seepage. There are also chemicals to add to detect leaks if the first method is unsuccessful.

I don't know of any way to by-pass the A/C compressor or any component in a serpentine belt system; but, you can unplug the compressor clutch (at the nose of the compressor, behind the pulley), then the compressor will not turn and the pulley just acts as an idler.

How to recode remote door opener on 2007 chevy

The only way to program a transmitter is with a scan tool.If you have more than one transmitter then you have to program them both or if you program one the other one will not work. They do this at the dealership but if you are just replacing the batteries then you should not have to program the remotes.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Reduced power

APP (accelerator pedal position) sensor is bad. Basically means you can floor it, but the signal going to the computer is only a reading a fraction of what it should, which in turn gives you the decreased power. You will need to replace it (basically the entire gas pedal assembly). I've seen them run anywhere from $60 to $120 new, depending on where you go, so shop around. Or, if you're comfortable enough buying used & have basic knowledge of hand tools (or know someone who does), go to a junkyard and pull the entire gas pedal assembly out of a scrapped Impala (make sure its the same year). They run an average of about $25 + tax here in TX, but I imagine that varies from state to state. All it is, is 2 bolts holding the assembly to the floor pan and either one or two wiring harnesses (sorry, it's been a while since I did my wife's & I can't remember for sure). Simply disconnect the wiring harness(es) (you may need something like a philips head screwdriver or something to depress the little latch to get the clip out that hold the harness securely in place) & remove the two bolts with a socket wrench. Then bolt the new pedal assembly in place & reconnect the wiring. After that, you may need to clear the code in the computer. This will get the messages and lights in the dash to turn off. Just take it to a dealership or local mechanic (any of them will have an ODB2 diagnostics tool) and ask them to clear the code. two minutes later, you'll be back on the road and the car will be running like new again. Hope this helped... Good luck!

My 2007 chevy impala windshield wiper dont work but the motor is running, what do i do?

Your wiper arm that is connected to the wiper motor under the plastic where you remove the wiper arms has come off or broken or the wiper motor is striped out the arm is good and simply need a new motor. You will have to remove the cover under the wiper blades it is as wide as the front of the car. Look under it to see what is actually going on. These are not very complicated repairs and can be done by a novice person. if you need further help please ask me i can send diagrams threw my home email if you think you need it. It is a pretty simple procedure. Also Please remember to rate my solution and leave testimonial this is how i earn my achievements Thanks in advance. .
