There is no "plug" it is supposed to drain out as it is created, the drain is under the car on the passenger side, it is a rubber tube blow compressed air into that drain to clear the clog (most likely bits of leafs)..

I dont think there is one. Plug diagnostic and check if there is a fault on the engine ECU. It might be a connection cut in air temp sensor and the ecu runs fan all the time for protection something like SOS mode . if the diag has a fault on a sensor "G # " then check wiring. happened in most cases in several VAG

Call a local Volkswagen Dealer and then give them your VIN and they should have or be able to get you a new plug.

Replace the thermostat... and reverse flush the coolant system... (FIND ANOTHER DEALER!!!!!!!!!!!!)
