Have someone pull the handle as you hit the center front of the hood with your hand. This helps to pop them up to unlatch them. Once open lube it till everything is loose again. May even raise the latch a bit. They are adjustable. If it still doesn't open, then you have to get under the bumper, with a long screw driver or pry bar and push the latch over. Look where the cable goes to the latch. You need to push it towards the cable.

Hooking up an OBD2 reader will tell you right away if the BCM is shot or BCM. Take it to advanced auto or O'Riley's they will hook up a an OBD2 reader and tell you. Sounds like a faculty PCM and BCM to me or just faulty PCM since you've replaced the Body Control Module already.

Hello John, It sounds to me that you could have corroded battery terminals at the battery or at the starter.

If you have a multimeter, it should be easy. Black lead on frame and red lead on "hot". If you read -12 Volts, you have a positive ground. If you read + 12Volts, you have negative ground system.

Dear Friend,
If something like that happens to me, I will take a needle nose pliers and go around the socket opening the metal wall that holds the bulb and pull the bulb out. Make sure to bend back so it can hold the new bulb.
Good Luck!

The thermostat not only allows the normal heat cycle but it also allows the coolant to be able to cool itself before getting returned to the engine block.. If you remove the thermostat then you are not giving the coolant enough time to cool itself before going back into the motor. This will actually make the vehicle run hotter then cooler. I would recommend looking into the lowest temp thermostat available for your vehicle and look for an additive to help cool better..

Check the fuse & relay (owners manual will show you where the box is)
Relay box in under the hood on the driver side just above the tire.
Inside fuse box should be on the side of the dashboard (driver side) very close to the door hinges.
I'm pretty sure you popped a relay or fuse during the jump.

You can pull the possible bad relay out and grab another relay (borrow it) from something else like brakes or lights.... just make sure it's the same part number.
(don't use fuel or engine control or anything that would stop the car from working)
Swap them and start the car to see if the AC/blower is working.

Hope this helps

have the disc rotors checked for warpage and bad wear. Check that the wheel bearings are in good condition and properly adjusted. Check pad thickness as you may have metal on metal.
