indicates a problem in the solenoid of the EGR valve ( short in the solenoid) take it to any service center for a check and replacement

Maybe, check the transmission fluid to see if the level is correct,it's usually pink, smell it, if it smells burned,or it's almost black, it needs changing, not sure that's the remedy, but it's a start.

code p 0440 refers to the EVAP system --purge valve malfunction check wiring and replace the purge valve

If the coil pack has a four wire connector, one wire is primary voltage, the other three wires are ground, one ground for each coil, one coil fires two spark plugs. If problem with coil or ground, you would lose spark for two spark plugs. Did you visually check for spark, everywhere? What about the spark plug wire or the spark plug, itself?

I would check all fuses regarding these , they make look intact but check the legs of fuses sometimes they get like a brownish coating on them that will cause them to play up, either wipe legs down with bit of sandpaper or replace with new. Hope you sort it.

The power scorce isn't the ECM .Test another coil for 12 volts key on run the configuration of the wires in side the connecters will be the same .Then see what is hot in coil B connector if you have the same voltage and tests the same then the coil pack is likely the problem but test the grounds on B and check the main wire OHMS before you start spending money

Do you have a check engine lamp on (MIL) ?? the OBDII port is fused, if that ecm or ecu fuse blows they will not be able to communicate with the computer through the OBDII port, check your owners manual if you can not find that fuse, it is there
