My drivers side door on my Nissan Maxima 2004 SL

Ok, if you have not slammed the door too hard and you are having a latch problem you need to gather a few things. This works better with two people if you have help. Take a screwdriver and place it in the middle of the latch on the door (where you would expect the bar the latch attaches to on the car would be if the door was shut). Have you other person pull the door handle as if they were opening the door, this will release the door latch itself. As they are pulling the handle, pull the screwdriver towards the inside of the door releasing the latch. I know I have a hard time explaining this method without being able to show you, but this is what you need to do.

How to replace a headlight bulb on a 2007 nissan

Go to this link (http://www.dmitriylerman.net/Maxima/MaximaMain.html). It's the best information I have found. Other solutions I've found say the bumper has to be removed. Someone mentioned that you don't have to remove the tire, necessarily, but it's easier that way.

Considering buying

HI, The Ventrue SL is a great vehicle. the transmission issues concern user or driver faults. this transmission is very sensitive and, it requires schedule maintenance on a regular basis. if you miss or neglect to maintain the trans, you will have issues. Just keep up the maintenance schedule and, the trans will be fine. Overall, its a great vehicle.

2007 nissan maxima belt replacment

not really,if you have a basic set of hand tools and some mechanical ability you should be able to do this yourself (your local auto parts store has rental tools for this job).there should be a belt routing diagram under the hood,on the radiator support or on the fender well area or possibly on the hood.if you do not find a diagram draw one on a piece of paper, without a diagram it is a real problem trying to properly route the belt.most have an idler/tensioner pulley that keeps the belt tight you will need to loosen this up,it is either held in place with a through bolt and then an adjusting bolt to tighten/loosen the belt, some are spring loaded and you need a wrench or a ratchet to take the tension off of it.once you have done this remove the old belt and install the new one in the reverse order.don't forget the routing diagram! good luck,I hope this helps get you through your belt change.

Electrical Problem

this is defiantly an electrical problem. I sense that most of it has to do with bad wiring in your steering column. If you have had a aftermarket installation done that deals with the stereo system, this will also cause these problems if it was not installed correctly. the worst scenario would be that this car is simply a lemon. hopefully not. its quite young to have these issues.

Engine will not start

That Clicking Sound is Coming from the Starter. First check the Starter Relay. It should be in a Fuse Relay Box under the Hood. If this is good, The Problem will be the Starter and will need to be Replaced. Also Check the Tension on the Belt. If the Belt is even a little loose it will not allow the Alternator to Charge the Battery and will cause a Not Start. Let me know what you find out. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help I can get! Thanks!
