It is not possible to have that reset or turned off "Service Due!" without using a diagnostic scantool connected to the data link connector of the car. This is the only one way to reset service due light on 2007 Audi A8.

The reason noone can help is because our info has nothing on bluetooth for you model and rear. I saw your post yesterday but my alldata and my Mitchell which is the reference material all shops use does not show anything.

I see you keep updating this post which leads me to believe that no one
has the correct info or nonene knows. ..

Just letting you know so you don't think your being ignored.

If you mean a circle that looks sort of like a gear with an exclamation mark in the middle, it represents the Transaxle fault light.

The engine number is within the VIN code.
The 4th through the 8th digit defines the engine type / number.

Audi and other suppliers only sell complete lights.
Try you luck at a scarpyard or ebay.
These lights are expensive.

If you have facelift version is a sealed unit.
These is even more expencive.

Pre facelift is not sealed, easy to fix.
Often the LED`s burn out. These can be replaced if you feel safe with a soldering iron.

Check this out if you have pre facelift:

Have you check your power steering system?

Hi Barry,

Sometimes, the locking mechanism closes while the lid remains open. Simply press your unlocking button on your fob, or in the vehicle. Then try to close the lid again.

It would help to know year and model (and therefore gearbox model) of your A8.
The 5HP24A in the D2 series (circa 1997 to 2002/3) has several issues and are commonly regarded as "fragile".

I have never experienced this when changing my fluid (I have a 2001 S8), but I have read reports that some filters have pick up tubes that are too long and need to be trimmed back or the gearbox can suffer from fluid starvation, particularly when pushed.
Also check that the gearbox sump has not suffered from any impacts. The fluid pick up is roughly central to the sump at the deepest area (both the oil drain and fill plugs are higher).

Was the work performed by an Audi or ZF specialist? There is a particular fill procedure which must be followed.

The gearbox can also suffer from pressure spikes (particularly in early models) which can damage the Clutch A basket, which is used for gears 1-3. However any damage here will result in immediate limp mode (all gears lit up on the DIS screen and gearbox locked in 4th gear).

internal transmission failure. if you take this to the dealer they will only replace the transmission. You might look for an independant repair shop that specialies in german transmission repairs.

Your air suspension system is bad. Likely one of air springs/bags has a leak. The compressor overheated and tripped out. The system needs to be reset.

I also had the system malfunction (compressor not running anymore to inflate the air bags to proper level) and found that water had entered the fuse/relay chamber under the hood; relays contact corroded and did not work anymore.
