Engine lights = codes

WOW! Too many to list. I found them at the following address: http://hyundai.wikia.com/wiki/OBD-II_Error_Codes You can go to autozone or many other autoparts stores and they will scan it for free and tell you what the problem is.. there is like over 250 different possible codes, and it had over 10,000 characters, so it was too large to list here.

My 2008 dies when in idle position such as at a

a stuck open EGR main?but usually WOT correct that,(big clue)if not EGR and not a simple lack of a tune up , ever do those?is a lack of fuel. low fuel pressure, never replaced the fuel filter, ever?it can be over 20 things, but here is the old list 1: bad engine, sure some will fail only hot. lost compression2: bad spark, (tune up?) DTCS from scan tool like P030x?3: bad fueling...rare, clogged CAT.each of the above has a simple test. we find out which of the 3 are bad, in that order, and work that to the logical conclusion.Lets pretend the problem is lost fuel, we check fuel pressure with a real gauge (no silly squirt tests) and its 30psi and at spec.so we check the MAF, and its dead. (actally weak)we look at it and find a mouse nest there, blocking the hot wire.i can list 100 failures, its not any use that, only tests and following the path to truth. called, Diagnosis.learn to use your scan tool ,is the CEL on at any time the bog happens?

Have a 2008 Hyundai Accent, check engine light is

No country stated, but never seen anyone here ever state it,not one in 1500 answer..sad. and totally makes answers near impossible.any ASE mech can work on any car, so long as some one didnt hack it up ,or remove Smog equipment (they are bound by law to put it back , !, If you refuse, the do too, by USA LAWS)I dont believe you dont have ASE mech, are you in N.pole?Ok , you are in the N.pole, no mech.so you buy a scan tool and it throws a DTC.IT WILL.and if you want to guess. 1: do the 60k tuneup.2: clean the EGR as the list above shows.3: clean the ISC (idle speed controller device (elect.air valve)BTW i do have person I help on the north pole, he posts to my forum all the time.my anwers are key to his reallty..

Car is shaking when driving down the road

Could be many things. Does the shaking get worst the higher the speed? Check tire balance. Some times the wheel weights fly off tire putting tire out of balance causing vibration.

Drain plug location for transmission on 2008 hyundai accent

If this is an automatic, there is no drainplug. You have to drop the entire tranny pan, but if you\'re careful when taking the bolts loose; you can drain the pan pretty easy.

How do I add manual transmission fluid to my transmission?

on manual transmissions most have a threaded plug to one side of the gearbox that is removeable with a socket rachet or a square plug removeable with a simple adjustable wrench.. the level is usually up to the bottom of this plug( pump 90wt gear oil in until the liquid(syrumpy)runs back out some..also rock the car back and forth on level ground and work the shifter(do not force hard as the shift finger can break.. good luck..repost findings..(also can be done at an oilchange place..)
