Check the freon level. It might be low so that it doesn't cool well but has enough pressure to activate the pressure switch. If the pressure is not high enough, the freon won't condense into a liquid in the condenser and all you get is cooling from gas expansion and not liquid to gas evaporation, which won't cool very well.

That's a possible fuse or relay problem unless with the key on your security light is flashing that vehicle may also have an inertia switch (fuel cut off switch ) located usually in trunk near tail lights or behind the carpet on passenger side or passenger footwell area side plastic trim behind that . If equipped. Easiest thing to do is try switching the fuel pump relay with another relay and see if it kicks on.....

Take cap off reservoir and Jack the car up supporting it on jack stands at the front end you want the front wheels off the ground about 4 or 6 inches enough to give you a level radiator meaning that you want the radiator cap once removed the top part of the plastic to be level or nearly level with the back firewall or where your heater hoses are going in to the cabin if possible you want to tilt the front of the car enough to make the radiator when viewed from the front to back (standing at front bumper)to be above the radiator heater hoses then let the car sit there for a few hours after it sets for about 3 to 4 hours start the car with the radiator cap off turn the heater on full blast and wait for it to warm up once it starts to warm up coolant will start to come out of the top of the radiator when that happens put the cap on sealing up radiator. and check your temperature gauge make sure it's not heating up too much also make sure your heater is putting out hot air that being said double-check and make sure your cooling fans are working and also before any of it probably double check your thermostat make sure you didn't put it in upside down.
