Emily, the steering column cover at the top of the steering wheel has to come off. You or someone has to unscrew the screws inside the column cover and unplug the electrical connector. This will help stop the motor under the hood from operating. If you have to; look at the fuse box either under the dash beside the steering wheel or under the hood. if you were sitting in the drivers seat looking forward they would be on your side of the engine on the top side of engine..but before you change them use a scanner to see codes first,change plugs,clean fuel system with sea foam and maybe check/change upstream o2 sensors and have catylic converter checked out ??? good luck

i would check to see what the code relates to ..as long as the transmission is working ok you know that's not a issue.could be (1) of the two sensors on the transmission..I had to change the input that affected shifting..the output is for the speedometer

Sounds like you might check your power steering fluid , if its good then you might have to replace the unit. pay attention to the instruction written on the units dip stick.

If I'm not mistaken, blocking transmission carried out by two conditions: turn the ignition key to the ON position and the brake pedal is depressed. Perhaps your brake pedal doesn't works. When the engine is running, if you press the brake pedal, can you hear clicks in Transmission blocker (near to the gear lever)?
