i would check transmission fluid level first and condition of fluid change fluid if at all dirty check connections and wireing to selector switch and solenoids on gearbox if all ok have a diagnostic check done on gearbox at volvo dealer or transmission specialist

Don't forget any water that got into the exhaust system will take a while to burn out of the muffler,cat ,ect.If the belt whines like a supercharger ,it's too tight.Not sure about this model but if it's an automatic and has a modulator valve,transmissionfluid burns white .

go to auto parts stor and have them read it.some places do it for free.

There is a solenoid that release the PArk lever when the Brake is pressed. Look under the console to check the wire from the brake to the console, first, then next shop is a shop.Some times they can just get stuck to so try giving quick little vibrations with the brake pressed (not to hard) the shifter lever.Also make sure your break lights come on when the brake is pressed to ensure you have a proper connection there also.

The DTC P2263 is a generic code for poor boost performance. What this means is that there is not a specific item giving a bad reading but something in the system as a whole is not correct. I have a Vauxhall Vivaro (Renault Traffic / Nissan) that could not pull the skin off a rice pudding. It ran sort of OK if you cleared the codes but it did not sparkle as it should. When the Mil light came on the vehicle went into LOS (limited Operation Strategy) and it took a long time to accelerate and I had to change gear when the revs approached 2000. The turbo made the right kind of whoosh noises at start up etc and the idle was perfect, no smoke, and it started on the button; just no grunt at all. The answer was a small T piece had broken in the vacuum lines connecting several sensors / valves...you see now why the generic code popped up. My advice is: If you get P2263 do not panic - think SYSTEM not COMPONENT - the answer is in the code. Best of luck.

Have you connected a mechanical gauge ? Does the engine make any noise or get hot ?

ignition coil 2 ignition coil 3 ignition coil 4 either one of coils is faulty.could have bad spark plug or plugs,could have dirty fuel injectors.code scan vechicle see what codes you have.

the remote to my volvo 2002 s60 stopped working and i took it to a regular auto repair shop, and the guy reprogrammed it for me. i was fortunate that he new how. so all this talk about it cant be done, and that you must take it to the dealer is a bunch of bull....
