the filter has like a plastic caseing around it and pops in and out like a switch,you dont say the model/year,open the glove box and look down inside at the bottom corners you should see a small screw remove and pull box towards you the filter is inbehind.adrian,,,,,,,,

Sounds as if you may have installed a bad alternator, although you have tested the battery and alternator this could have happened, you should check your volts to make sure battery reads 12 volts with car off and it should read over 14 volts with car running. if it is not reading correctly or you are unsure take your car to local autozone to get them to put computer on vehicle to check for problem. Check engine codes and flash codes for proper settings, this should not have affected this by replacing the battery and alternator. check to see if battery is the right size for car, and watch out for aftermarket alternators, most are rebuilt although they look new, check your wires on alternator to make sure hooked up correctly and tight, also check battery cables for corrosion, what was the reason for replacing the battery and alternator?

Its easy to do. The bolts are easy to find underneath the front of the seat and the back. Just unbolt and take out the seat.

Reach under seat and remove the four bolts that hold it in. Other types slide and click in and you just pull up on both levers at same time and then pull back.

My mom owned the 2005 Kia Spectra and I use to drive it all the time before she traded it in for a brand new Honda Accord. To answer your question: The passenger side airbag in your 2005 Kia Amanti only comes on when someone is sitting in the passenger seat. Give it a try, have someone sit in the passenger seat with the car running and the light will go off.

Change the fuel filter again,and maybe twice more,the contaminated fuel,most likely had particles in the fuel also.Do this,and try lucas fuel treatment,with the red bottles of heet,two bottles of heet,remember the red bottles of heet.The red,is for diesels.This combination,I sell at the parts store for these kind of problems.People seem to think it works great,and we run out of the products from time to time.If this does not seem to do the trick,after you have changed the fuel filters,and got to where you need fuel,and refuel,then the injectors,and or the fuel pump,may need replacing to correct the problem.Let me know what you do,and let us know if my information was helpful,in any way,thank you,I am still here if you need me.

Remove one plug from cylinder, place back in wire, set on engine block, have some one crank while you watch to see if that plug is firing. Or use an ohmeter or plug wire tester. If one cylinder is bad, it is bad wire, if two are bad, it is most likely faulty pack, if three, or more are bad, you could have faulty module or crank shaft position sensor. Plug wires should be changed as often as the plugs.

check to see if the coil on cylinder 3 is sending out a spark to do this use a tester. they can be purchased at an auto parts store. they look like a spark plug but the end is open to see if the spark will jump under compression. a normal plug will jump with no compression but sometimes will not jump under compression
