CCC Navigation Map DVD not Detected

SITUATION
When entering into the navigation system, the screen only displays
"Please insert DVD", even though a DVD map is inserted in the drive.
CAUSE
Incorrect map DVD
CCC software or hardware error
PROCEDURE
On a customer complaint basis proceed as follows:
Always verify that the correct map DVD is used (identified by DVD-CCC).
Try a known good map DVD and see if the problem is resolved.
Update the complete vehicle per SI B09 05 01 (Programming and Coding
with Progman) Procedure B, using Progman 25.00.00 or higher.
If the fault is still present, replace the DVD drive. Refer to Repair Instructions RA 65 83 580

My m6 keeps overheating in slow traffic after a
if you run the a/c in slow traffic it will cause more heat in the engine bay then the car can ex spell if that is not the case try putting in a new thermostat and also when the thermostat is being replace have a very through cooling system flush done.hopefully this helps a bit.

That terminal is up front because the battery is in the trunk and less accessible. You can hook the charger up positive to the underhood post you mentioned. If there is no negative post shown in the manual, keep in mind that the whole chassis and engine is grounded. Any exposed metal parts should work - a shock tower bolt for example.
You can hook the charger directly to the battery in the trunk too, but the above should work just fine.
I have a BMW 740IL
remember this is not a warning about oil level, that is another system, this is the engine oil pressure warning, this means the oil pressure being read by the oil pressure sending unit is below about 5-10 pounds per square inch or PSI, at this low of pressure the engine bearings can be damaged as well as other components like the valve train parts, the thing to do here is have the oil pressure tested by a shop with a special calibrated mechanical test gauge, the one in the car is electronic, u may just have a defective oil pressure sending unit, but take no chances, if the pressure is really low engine damage will occur soon, get the oil pressure PSI checked ASAP, if it is ok then the shop will replace the oil pressure sending unit on the engine, about a $100 part.
