You need to contact the dealer. But my guess is no, electronics are so small now that no external amplifier is required to attain the needed wattage output.

There is no reset, it must have a mechanical malfunction.

Hi. Ther is a bolt and plate at the base of the battery holing it in. 13mm socket and extension will be needed. Good luck.
