Hi Steve , didn't check fuses (all ) yet check all wiring touched by you and those connectors re-seated. one injectors is stuck on. it seems.s shorted harness top one. or cam timing completely wrong its not the PCM at all. sure. for sure. the new levers HLA cannot just be thrown in; they are primed first. the service manual covers all that. HLA and cam timing. scan the OBD2 port for DTC errors. this v6 has 3 COP coils and x3 HV park wires that must not be ever mixed up ,must be in proper firing order. to do all that that , the 1st step is pull battery neg lug .or damage can happen or if lucky only fuse blew. next time try to do the job as 4 jobs and start and test engine after each one. timing belt DOHC v6 spark plugs and fuel injectors. HLA from simple to more hard. order,your call your down time. then when it fails the cure is 4 times more easy to know. read the SM yet, per this? super tricky timing, cam locker tools help.

well all cars end up like this, for sure not doing service points per the makers guild. so it is NOT a NO START (50 causes) it is a DEAD starter called CRANKING is dead. 6-8 causes. we we have posted the answer here 100 times. googling gets millions. well first is the drivers seat you look at the dash cluster for IMMO lamp errors. (security key errors ) if yes BINGO all in 1 second flat you see the IMMO is not happy, engine immoblizer is glowing DEAD WRONG. per the users guide now lost>

1. IMMO not happy, fix that, first (users guide page 3-8)
2. battery cables loose or rusty lugs or gee both. sure this old. sure;.
3. the battery that old is NEVER GOOD ,ever. in fact on 2nd battery and now it died too and gee even INTERMITTANT batteries happen EASY (common)_
4. key switch bad.
5. starter relay bad
6. no transmisssion told (auto or stick) but PRNDL bad but amazing it cranks in neutral tried, (per users guide) or if STICK, clutch switch bad.
7. starter bad. (it can be hot wired, keys in pocket safely , ask how.

if the starter motor is dead (no crank) how can you say the battery is good. If you have a Autozone or Oreilly's Auto Parts or NAPA they should be able to get you the proper bolt.

no miles on car or engine told 2006. 3.5L V6, running the belt to DEATHH.? are you. this engine is INTERFERENCE , step 1 is to not crank it to deathh, (I warned yah) step 1 is check cam timing.first or $$$$$$$$$$$$$ damage happens if not 3.5L then CRANKS FAST BUT WILL NOT START AND RUN OR STAY RUNNING, some cars stop running at 1 to 10seconds when the IMMO lamp in the dash cluster glows wrong, for bad key try both keys yet, came with car new day 1 ? no starts have up to 50 causes. 10 tests. or more to find cause. tools + skills and we find it every single time. here is a short list of huge.

1. all fuses good.
2. IMMO lamp not angry (security lamp) glowing dead wrong, per the operators glove box guide now lost.?
3. engine bad (sorry we have 10 tests to prove it is good ,using pile of tools.
4. spark dead cant burn fuel lacking spark good on all 6 cylinders we the them all, and 17 year old spark plugs are never good, ever to full tune up, ? spark and filters?
5. last is fuel and is last to check and we use a tool called fuel pressure gauge to make sure PSI pressure is at spec cranking any dead engine, BTW, the battery must be kept charged or the PCM goes dead;. with super low battery voltage./ keep it charged using tool with same name.
6. if spark was good and engine was good test fuel works using a can of (instant start spray) and we spray 3 seconds, and it starts and runs for 3seconds, and repeats over and over until you are happy the engine sounds good 3 seconds at a shot, cam chain not screaming for help,etc,etc.
7. no engine told and that is first. so we know what it there and its SPECIAL needs. and bad acts. my wild guess USA car? 3.5L V6?

kia and hyundia share engines and more (they share) and what you have I could never guess for sure outside USA. the engine there really does matter. to do tests in the right order and no cause damage my only line kia service manual for USA only shows this. 3.5L v6, the belt must replaced, 60k miles best. and guides and rollers and that hyd. tensioner too./ and oh boy the water pump is not ignored. never crank any dead, 3.5L DOHC cam engine to deathhhh means more expensive damage not just belt. sorento engine list ,outside USA is this Engine Petrol: (USA gasoline) 2.4 L Sirius II I4 3.3 L Lambda V6 3.5 L Sigma V6 << usa version 3.8 L Lambda V6 Diesel: YOU SAD GAS so is not Diesel 2.5 L A I4

car starts, runs and drives perfectly? AC or heater blower works on high? head lamps work fully and brightly.? tail lamp (park) all glow? ? brake lamps work and are bright. check fuses? look for connections to the radio loose or damaged AM Radio dead means the antenna is missing wires to it bad. or missing. FM may work say on 1 stations if the stations is like 5 miles away, all stations that are under say 25miles must work or the antenna is bad. FM, and vastly farther for AM. we do not know where you live( a town) so can never guess what stations are in range to you. see?

normally if you clear the codes it means that all the codes are cleard, unless there was a problem with the car that was never sorted out, and if that is the case they should be able to tell you what the code means
