ues the #1 cylinder to set timing,i had the same problem,its sounds like you have a bad egr valve,that was the problem with my truck,i changed the valve and problem solved

There is a plug on the side of the transmission with a square hole in it (3/8 inch) passenger side usually. Remove it, if fluid doesn't come out of it, ad some until it does. It is full then. Auto parts stores will tell you the grade you need. If it's been a really long time. On the bottom there is a same plug. Drain it and fill.

My first question is what is your transmission model!!??? May be your Clutch disc have a problem. or may be your transmission was not compatible in you suspension.. or the the suspension gear have a problem.

Replace the reay that controls this motor.

So it only CLICKS! Is the "New Battery" fully Charged? Are the Battery Cable terminals properly cleaned and tightened? Check the Voltage with a Multi-meter and insure that at least 13 Volts is present. If that is OK then your Starter Solenoid is no longer engaging it's contact plate with the Battery Terminal and the Starter windings. Some times the Brushes inside the Starter wear out and no longer make contact with the armature, This condition would require rebuild or replacement with a re-manufactured or new starter. You may just have a Battery that is at the end of it's "Life Cycle".
