disconnect battery loosen adjusting bolt on alternator for belt removal, remove wire connections from altenator, remove mounting bolts, replace in reverse order.

0831 is the last day of August
and PHC COULD be for a 1988 350 truck engine.
The CJ710556 may be the Chevy division and the casting number for the block, or the serial number.

The front ones are a bearing and race in the rotor the bearings will fall out when the rotor is removed and tipped or a screw driver maybe required to push them out as the grease may hold them some . Then the race can be punched out from the opposite side. and the new one can be gently tapped into place using the old one as a driver.

at carburetor unplug fuel line with a recipient attack to it
start engine is there any fuel if not fuel pump defect ,,,, if yes then carburetor float pintle stuck

just a thought, but , if engines are basically stock in nature, putting high performance electrics into them like MSD distributor was a wrong decision . I would replace them with a more stock distributor setup, my reasons are based on my own experience with my 1988 gmc 350. tryed to get a greater spark, more bang for my buck, it ran , but when my mechanic tryed to perform an emissions test , I had your same problem, even fire exploding out of carburator, he literally blew a gasket @ me, almost burned his arm off. he races cars for a hobby, first thing he said was to put back the stock distributor & coil, I did , success ! in coclusion, you have too much fire (spark) and your timming might need adjusted a bit ! HOPE THIS SHEDS SOME LIGHT !
