without my head under the bonnet here iam at a loss as its about this time that common rail was introduced so i could write two seperate and completely different answers ,check the temperature sensors thik their is two of them for the engine gauge and the fan ,also the heater timer/relay as either way i think its not injecting enough fuel when cold ,also it may pay to fit a non return valve in the inlet line to stop the fuel from running back when stopped ,yes i know its a bodge answer but if a fuel pump its 600 euros to change the valve in the pump .but agn i would need to know what type of injection system is used
