He may have activated the alarm system which will cause a no start condition. Cycle the key in the door to lock and unlock several times. That should correct it. If he shorted something I would start checking fuses. Start with the fuel pump fuse then check them ALL if it still has an issue.

This is actually very simple, if a bit messy. Put a couple of rags under the sensor, remove the connector from it. Undo the cap on the Schrader valve. It's on the fuel rail on the opposite side of the FPR. Press the center with a rag over it and let it soak up the gas that comes out. Then go back to the FPR and undo the T25 screw from it, then with gently pull it out while twisting it back and forth a little and let the rags soak up the mess under it. Then stick the new one in, tighten the screw, replace the connector and turn on the ignition a couple of times to push fuel up to the rail and pressurize it, then start the car. My sensor failed by 'hiccuping' once in a while. It would spike the pressure to 120 psi, then drop to 20 psi, then normalize at 43 psi again, all within a few seconds.

The passenger seat has a occupant weight sensor in it. If she placed her purse or anything in it, the warning will come on. Either fasten that belt or remove any objects you have in the seat. This was my very first thought when I read your question.

That's a light I never like. But it could be a simple fix. Tighten the gas cap. If the car senses something isn't right in that area on comes the emissions light. It can take a couple of trips back and forth to work or the store after you tighten it before the light turns off. Please don't over tighten it. There should be instructions on the cap or in that area, such as 'tighten until it clicks' or such.


If it's the original gas cap, consider replacing it. You should be able to get one at the auto parts store. Just make sure the cap is designed to fit your car. If it doesn't fit correctly your car will still sense something is wrong and that light will stay on.

The Window that only rolls part way down, the stop for low position has moved apparently and must be manually reset. The other that won't move at all, your correct in checking the power to it. Pull the panels to access them.

Electrical issue is causing your hassles. Look for a bad ground in circuit common to those items.

the rattle could be loose /failing wheel bearings causing the hub rotors to touch the wheel sensors for the abs and stabilitrak system that is the only connection between the sensors and the abs unit

Check to see if the electric fan cam unplugged. Or see if the electric fan is working.

You have a bad relay in the fuse panel in the back of the car u need to keep switching them around till you find the non working one Regards Chris

How old is your battery and if it's over 2 yrs old get a new one also when u get out of the car make sure u turn the fan all the way off then it won't try to turn on

probably your divert er valve failed , very expensive for my car anyway last year.

Something with a motor like that should have a relay as well. Check that first

why unplug disconnect alarm ---doing that will not let vehicle start --does vehicle turn over and not start --does it turn over --when tutning key to start what happens ---

Check to make sure you have spark, then do a fuel pressure test.
