Without a full scan test of all modules it would simply be guessing at it and that's no help!.. That usually leads to unnecessary parts replacement and that's wasting money... Too many possibilities! Your local independent auto repair shop should be able to do a full scan, parts stores can't!!

Hi Boity ! since you do have a frequent fault, just visit an expert auto electrician and request the check up by using a portable computer following the power resistance given by the ECM ( Electronic Control Module ~) to the coils. probably is the ECM.

Please note: (if you replaced the remote battery) - New battery is connected in the right polarity. - New battery is in good working condition. - Check the voltage of new battery. - The connecting terminals must be clean enough to provide good contact. - Hold the remote with the Toyota sign facing toward smart touch button on the car until you hear a sound. - Place the remote on passenger's seat for five minutes to complete the registration process. - Start the car. The fuel filter is within the fuel tank. It is replaced after every subsequent 100,000 km or it can be cleaned with compressed air (if clogged).

Yaris is front wheel drive car. The noise may be coming out of the rear wheel bearings. This often happens if the bearings become aged or when the water traps into the bearings. Thanks

There are 3 relays in the glove box. All 3 are behind the plastic cover in the upper left corner of the glove box. The relay to the fuel pump is the one to the far left.

These are usually on the same circuit as the tail lights so if they are working it's not a fuse problem.have you checked the bulbs?
