No. Let good sense and experience guide you. If you need a torque figure try an internet generic chart and halve the maximum listed for the size and type of bolt.

Torque figures aren't just there to avoid snapping bolts or to achieve the maximum clamping force.
Using torque figures is also about tightening a number of bolts uniformly to avoid distortion.

switch not adjusted properly , the switch needs screwing anti clock wise , remove the wire connector first , turn one complete turn then refit wire and check lights , repeat if still on , don't want to over adjust the otherway as lights won't come on

You cannot install/ modify the carburetor yourself. Better you get the job done by some professional. It is a very complicated and comprehensive job that cannot be carried out without having the workshop facilities and experience as well.

id buy over the counter at NAPA, good parts (no [email protected] junk)
and can match it, walk in , throw it on the counter.
match it. saves all that grief of getting wrong parts in mail.

Can you hear a click at the starter when you turn the key? If so then you may have a bad starter. If you do not, then check to see if there are 12 volts at the starter large wire. If not, check battery connections and voltage. If you, check to see if the small wire gets 12 volts when the key is turned to start. If no, check the relay and neutral safety switch. Feed 12 volts to small wire. If you hear a click, change the starter.
