Airbag light on seat toledo tdi, how do i fix myself
Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, SRS
and BCM faults) as long as the light is on. You must now have the
dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan"
the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

system, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module
2003 expedition heat/cool seats not working
All other seat controllers work. Nothing unhooked and fuses are all good.
The diagnostic process for the heating and cooling is a very long and involved process and requires a couple of specialized diagnostic tools that you may not have.
Here are some of the easier things to physically check, which can be preventing the proper function of the seats:
Mechanical
- Climate controlled seat ducts
Electrical
- Climate controlled seat ducts
- Fuse(s)
- Circuitry
- Driver seat module (DSM)
- Lumbar control switch
- Memory set switch
- Power seat motor
- Seat control switch
- Seat fan motor

John Deere 4600 shuts off when put in gear,
If your John Deere 4600 shuts off when put in gear, even after bypassing the seat switch, there could be several potential causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Check the Neutral Start Switch: The neutral start switch ensures that the tractor can only be started when it is in neutral. If this switch is malfunctioning, it may cause the engine to shut off when you engage a gear. Inspect the switch for any visible issues and consider testing or replacing it.
- Inspect the PTO Switch: The power take-off (PTO) switch should be disengaged when shifting gears. A malfunctioning PTO switch could be causing the engine to shut down. Check the PTO switch for proper operation.
- Examine Safety Interlock Switches: There are often multiple safety interlock switches on a tractor, including those associated with the brake, clutch, and other safety features. Check all safety interlock switches to ensure they are functioning correctly. A faulty safety switch could shut down the engine when a gear is engaged.
- Battery Voltage and Connections: Low battery voltage or poor connections could lead to electrical issues. Check the battery voltage and ensure that the connections are clean and tight.
- Inspect Fuses: Check the fuse box for any blown fuses. If a critical fuse is blown, it could lead to a shutdown when engaging gears.
- Fuel System: Ensure that the fuel system is functioning properly. Check the fuel filter, fuel lines, and fuel supply to the engine. Lack of fuel flow could result in the engine shutting down.
- Engine Sensors: Modern tractors are equipped with various sensors that contribute to engine control. A malfunctioning sensor, such as a crankshaft position sensor, could cause the engine to shut off unexpectedly.
- Professional Inspection: If the issue persists after checking the above components, it may be advisable to seek professional assistance. A qualified mechanic or John Deere service technician can perform more in-depth diagnostics using specialized tools.
It's important to approach these troubleshooting steps carefully, and if you're uncertain or uncomfortable performing certain tasks, seek assistance from a professional. Additionally, refer to the tractor's manual for specific details about the safety interlock system and troubleshooting procedures.
