Check the fuse labelled "hazard"". If OK then change the hazard switch. The switch not only turns on all signal lights but also switchover from hazard to turn signal. Usually both circuits uses the same flasher relay.
It uses a Vehicle Speed Sensor or VSS installed on the transmission close to the drive shafts. Check if the wire connector to the unit came loose or broken.
Dashboard backlight works together with the tail light. Both the headlight and tail light is controlled by relays. Check the engine bay fusebox. Look at the inside of the fusebox cover and you can see the 'location map'of relays and fuses. Theheadlight and tail light relays sits side-by-side. Change both and check for blown hedlight fuses..
