not told at all a problem Reverse dead. low (PRNDL) dead Drive dead, or will not upshift at all stuck in 1st gear? tell all evidences. check all fuses first then scan the OBD2 port for DTC errors. let me guess in EUrope and no obd2 until 2007 diesel. the TCM needs to be scanned none the less. or buy the service manual and read how.? no car like this in USA so we;'d first learn the real boxes maker and name. then see if it has shift solenoids. and if it has 1 to 3 speed sensors on the box. you said gear box. but we have 2 kinds, manual box or auto the manual box on ours. has vss electric sensor only ABS sends speed data to the PCM. learn what gear box is here and tell it or answers will be dead wrong or wild guessing. and we have no Peugeot here.USA. lots of cars In Europe are in fact stick shift manual./ super common there, I know.

IF the CEL is dead key on the lamp is dead or was hacked by the last seller, (common) key on is lamp self testing .and its only purpose that.and must GLOW. but lost your scan tool to see errors (DTC) the CEL lamp is useless to any tech (if not glowing) CEL is for 1 thing , smog passes. a tech knows there can be 1000 errors and only some do make CEL glow, forget this silly lamp ! okay end it. wiser is scan the PCM as any car misfires. keeps hesitating is misfiring or is lean burn. or flooding misfire. top causes no a guess. 1:low fuel pressure. (a test) FPR bad. 2: TPS is bad or TWB 3: gee running spark plugs for 17 years? no why 4: engine compression way too low (any) a test. 5: EGR stuck open (if has one) 6: MAP dirty clean it.( so it is new sure) but gee the vacuum path to it must not be BLOCKED. 7: maf sensor dirty. 8:ect tells PCM engine hot (lies) and cold ,it's bad. 9: if engine does have MAF does it< and vacuum leaks are huge , the AFR goes lean and does as you said. map only engines, vacuum leaks engine screams with full power, some EFI run map for starting and idle only then kicks over to MAF for off idle to WOT. best is can do , no such car in USA no books either. buy the service manual and read what is there. and not there is the key fixing EFI problems. if are. is car in EUROPE? if yes why fear this fact as 99^% do here. all that does is undermine correct answers in Europe OBD2 is good 2002 up petrol engines. scan it and save tons of Euro's the tool is free,(math) just one hour of shop labor saved makes it free !!! called ROI ECON101 or the first part not guessed and useless to the problem.at hand. free, or worse the guessed part is wrong or bad and now 2 problems. scan it and win.

fuses good scan it yet

weak batteries cars came new with 2 fobs good, both fail.? never have just one, they wear out too. and fast.! or even worse button switches inside shorted. omg pain. that is just one cause, of many, scan the OBD2 port PCM for errors yet?

no VIN TOLD , AT ALL PARTS ARE SOLD BY VIN. and BOOKS ON CARS ARE SOLD BY YEAR AND VIN NON TOLD. cam timing or spark.??? sold new with 15 engine, (vast) and no clues you. 2007 to now made and not told at all no job told at all or what steps are stuck at during re-assembly, not told at all. we cant see you,ok?

lots of ways, to leak rain (or other things) windshield glass cracked door seals bad or door warped heater core, leaking engine coolant, (not water AF50% coolant) the water in hand feels slimy, is not rain.!! the cars most have cowl vent area in front of windshield glass. this cowl when opened UP we see drains if the 2 or more drains Are clogged up with leaves or nests. the cowl floods like a bath tub and overflows the HVAC fresh air vent, port, (a coffer dam it is) and flows to the hVAC blower and to the floor., bidda bodda boom. or super bad rusted car bodies sure do leak. never ask the blind we can not see your car, blind find shop tech to find it , living hands on work.

Check to make sure the breather/air filter box is sealed. You have some really bad air inlet leakage.
