Peugeot 206 indicator clicking fast
Get the correct wattage globe. I am suspecting that the resistance of the globe you used as a replacement is lower than the original globe that was in the left bulb position.
Had this problem with a car myself.
The lower resistance changes the timing of the flash .
Maybe get a replacement globe from a
Peugeot Dealer
if you can't find the correct wattage globe any where else ..
Fault finding
If the fault code doesn't reset the problem is not fixed. PERIOD.
Coolant boiling problem
There are a number of possibilities:
1. Not enough anti-freeze in the cooling system. Anti-freeze not only protects against freezing, but also boil-over.
2. Defective thermostat. If it is stuck closed or partially so, it can cause overheating.
3. Clogged radiator.
4. Defective water pump.
5. Blown head gasket.
Indicator problem
Try this: Disconnect the battery terminals. Wait 20 minutes and then connect again.
Why does my 206 only start up when i tap the accelerator
take it back to repair shop. If they cannot fix the problem then ask them for their insurance company name and number so you can make a claim and have it repaired at another shop like an authorized service center for your make and model.
When you ask for their insurance company info they usually wake up and get it right. No one wants any insurance claims against their policy.
Not sure what country you are in. So that is a US recommendation.
Peugeot 206 temp gauge issue
Make sure the coolant level is correct. If it is, could be a bad water pump or a clogged radiator. Check the radiator to see if it looks like the inside has a lot of scale and deposits. Remove some coolant if necessary. If the radiator looks relatively clean , could be a bad pump.
Intermittent power loss
have the OBD codes read as this will pinpoint the faulty sensor/switch , this will save you time and money searching for the fault blind , keep me posted if you wish
No power going up hill
check the transmission if it is slipping. If not, check if you are spitting oil from the exhaust. If your exhaust is whitish in the rear, then your engine needs to be rebuilt.
