Does this only happen when the key is in the ignition? Try removing and re inserting key.

2008 kia sportage I suggest you get one of those manuals people get nowadays to do it yourself.. My nephew use it to repair my car and it's totally repaired now here's the website he bought it from.

Since fuel supply side have been changed, try looking into the ignition side. It will be much simpler if you scan your car for error codes. Less guesswork and lower repair cost. Without codes, next to check would be Crankshaft Position Sensor and Camshaft position Sensor. If both OK and all relays are OK, you should have spark.

box repairs not done correctly you may have to take it to a transmission specialist for an overhaul or get a good unit from the wreckers/junk yard and fit it

sounds like starter solenoid

Every automobile engine has a flywheel. The starter engages the flywheel when you start the engine.

Your problem is likely not the knob. Sounds like you need to order yourself a rebuilt heater/AC control module. I put one in a '91 Le Sabre several years ago, and it worked fine. Don't take it to the dealer unless you have to. They'll rob you to fix it.

Not sure abut this vehicle but most flashing units are under the dash not far from the steering column..

That would be antifreeze check radiator for coolant and if you have heat then check thermostat if equipped with one

Yessir. Also check your a.c. pulley those can cause a lot of grief as well.

problem is in the 4wd drive operation disconnect 4wd back to Awd (Turn the knob selector)

If you are referring to fan operation, check out the wiring to the fan motor and make sure it is receiving power. Also check out he brushes on motor. Worn brushes will not make good contact and result in intermittent/erratic operation
