Why is it overheating unless I have the heater turned on full blast?

The heater acts as an additional mini radiator to cool down the coolant. Sounds like you may need a new radiator.

Where is the fan control sensor located

Ron need a little bit more info as what size motor ect. Usually fan control switch is located by thermostat housing other possibilitys are a/c system is low on freon an other issues found on those models is clogged radiator or thermostat stuck closed. I would replace thermostat first make sure to fill system and purge sir out of system by sweezeing upper radiator hse untill all air has been removed. Upon starting make sure to run jeep for 15 min with heat on to allow air in heater core to be removed as well. Also make sure cooling fans come on. Your model may have either one dual speed fan or two fan motors one for motor one for a/c possible blown fuse or burnt ot relay If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/robert_c7b5aba9012a13b2

Ac stops working after an hour

It's sounds like it's getting to cold and freezing up back the thermostat off and runn it and see if it still does it , if it does you have a relay heating up and if it works fine the you probably need to take it somewher and let a A/C guy look at it, might need to be serviced vaccume pulled oil and the works. Loose water pump pulley???

4 cyl or V6 - - gas or diesel ?You can go to one of the online auto parts websites and look up the water pump to see if it looks like your pulley. Or visit a local store. If the water pump pulley is moving, the bearing may be failing which would require replacement.

Wat models && years would b interchangeable for the computer brain or module of an '06 liberty sport?

it must be same part number and jeep told you it is not PNP, plug and play and must be programmed to work. and 99% off all returned PCM are perfectly good due to bad inputs, to PCM or output actuators are bad (injectors and relays etc) as we said for 50 years, GIGO (even back to relay computers, first ever) garbage in gets you garbage out , of any computer made.so far. why not scan the PCM and tell the DTC errors and get help or omg even tell symptoms of any engine.

03 jeep liberty stuck in 4 wheel drive and not shifting out of second part time light will not cut of but will go to lo and high what can it be

If you have true 4-wheel drive as opposed to all-wheel drive and you were driving on a dry surface with four wheel drive engaged, you may have "wound up" torque between the front and rear drive trains. This happens because when turning, rear wheels take a shorter route than the front wheels and this difference has to be compensated for either in the transfer case or by slippery or snow covered roads, or it will bind, and the resulting pressure makes moving the selector very hard. You have probably felt this happening ("bucking") to a lesser extent when making tight turns while in 4WD in the past? If this is the case, all you have to do is jack up the front end - and preferably get both front tires off the ground. The jeep should NOT be running. If it was "bound up," this will release the pressure and you will probably see the front wheels spin a bit. You should then be able to move the selector back to the two-wheel or all-wheel drive position. Good luck.

My 05 Jeep Liberty have a rough idle and the plugs have been changed

2005, is old, the cop boot are bad too that old boots are $15 each an 10x less than coil + boot. best is replace the, spark is first, cant burn fuel (gas) with bad spark. my guess if you scanned it , you'd see P0300 errors, means all fail. or see P0301 and only coil #1 or boot is bad. or injector #1 is bad. scan it. not scanning the PCM means wild expensive gue$$ing beg, barrow, rent ,buy the tool or get is scanned in any shop USA> most COPs replaced where never bad, HV wires/boots/plugs yes. there are other causes.
  • bad engine, (cant be fixed with new cops or injectors)
  • bad spark
  • bad injections means fueling problems
I say why fear scan tools? the pay for them selves, that first time used, it is now a free scanner.. see how that works? ROI? saved from shop labor saved from THROWN parts not bad..? Do it first . even blown fuses,(o2 sensor fuse blown)???? check fuses.

Jeep Liberty 3.7. Why can't I get spark to coil?

You do not want spark to coil, but from the coil to the plugs. This could be in the wiring or sensors . Even a theft deterrent on. Connect a scanner and see what you have.
