could be a dry spring or pedal bush at the top of the pedal if it is a cable operation , could be a failing cable

If your only having a problem with the plug have a machinist work on it, he can remove your stripped bolt by drilling it out, if the pan thread is stripped on an aluminum pan a new helicoil insert can rebuild your pan thread.

You may have a bad Throttle body.

Run a diagnostic test to find the codes for the faulty part.

change your gas filter it might be clogged the red x might have cleaned all the dirt in your system and has now clogged the filter the car starts runs for 10 - 15 seconds then stalls out ? if this sounds like your car I also see you are using the term petrol so I know this is a diesel car / or are you just using that term for gasoline there's a big difference between fuels please post back to clarify fuel use?

Not usually, get a meter that measures amps. Hook it into the system by removing the negative battery cable and hook the meter to the battery on one lead and the cable on the other lead. Measure the amperage. Then start pulling fuses out of the fuse box and see what makes the reading drop. NOTE that opening the door will cause a big amperage draw. You could blow out the meter if you have it set wrong or it is not high amp rated

You will have to remove the door panel from the inside. Once you have the door panel removed you can manually work the linkage to open the door.

Could be a few things. End link bushings, struts, cv axles, tie rods, or ball joints. A suspension component for sure.

Mechanic is locked in the trunk tapping to get out. OK is the tapping when turning the key, if so battery is to low to turn over the engine, many things can cause a dead battery. 1) bad alternator if bad your car is a power wheel and the battery will need a charge every time you drive a long distance. the battery is made to start the car once started the alternator runs the car and charges the battery. Crude alternator test, jump car to start once running pull pos. battery cable if car keeps running alternator is OK DO NOT RECONNECT CABLE, TURN OFF CAR FIRST 2) any equipment left on while car sits drawing power like stereo amps etc. 3) corroded and loose cables on the battery (clean and lube)

have a compression test done to confirm your suspicions. If the compression is low on some but better on others it may be valves . If the compression doesn't alter check the cam shaft is turning ( broken timing belt)

it is called a bulb socket and if it is a separate unit that you turn 90 degrees to take the bulb out then get a new one from the wreckers . If you have to remove the light lens to replace the bulb the get a new light fixture.

check for blown bulb in the one that is not working

turn key on put window switch in down position and hit door panel hard enough to jar any stuck brush in window motor !ps donot hit hard enough to damage door panel capish!

you may try this ,put someone in the car and you start the car from outside when the car is running let them hit the unlock button from inside to see if it dies.If it does not then it is possibly wired incorrectly.Although this is not a fix it may help
