pull battery neg lug for 1hour. this resets all brains in the car, even lost radio channels saved, sorry or with shop manual find he TCM , my guess its inside the PCM 'find the PCM memory fuse, ours are called IOD fuses. pull it for 1hr. F1.20 (10amps) is memory I think. PCM it is hot all times. BJB ,battery fuse box, top center fuse 1.20. to left of 1.9

there is going to be a whole lot of screws, take a few pitchers as you go unless you can remember everything from start to finish take the battery connections off then you can get going, take the glove box out,kick panels off drop the steering column down but don't pull it out just unbolt it remove the center console, just pay Attention to how you take the dash apart.

sounds like the flex pipe it's a steel braided exhaust part that allows the engine to move back and forth these are a common problem moisture will sit in the accordion parts and they rot from the inside out and they will usually look fine at first glance unless the braids are starting to pull apart

You may have to have the lock replaced for safety, this may be a job for a mechanic . Once locks do not release the key it is time for replacing.

Is it the dash vibrating or is because of wheel vibration? Generally the dash is pretty sturdy and unless its been in a major prang and the panel beaters have missed putting some of the screws back, it shouldn't vibrate. If the vibration starts at a certain speed and the steering wheel vibrates too, I would say its a wheel balance problem. Any Tyre place should be able to rebalance the wheels and sort this out for you. There is a possibility of a drive shaft vibration but im not sure how you check that out. If it is the dash, then good luck... There are many screws, bolts etc that hold the dash together, You will have to by trial and error , see which one is loose or missing. Before you do anything though, check that nothing is loose and rattling or vibrating in your glove box, ashtray or tissue holder. . There used to be this ad on TV showing a Guy who stripped his entire dashboard down to fix an annoying rattle. When he was looking at the hundred parts or so lying on the driveway, he found a couple of spare coins nuts and bolts rattling around in the ashtray which was the cause of the rattle!

On most models the code means there is a problem with the fuel pressure sensor on the fuel rail, or the pressure is too low at times. You may need to have a shop look at the data from the sensor to figure out the actual problem.

You can find the owners manual for your 2005 Focus online by googling 2005 Focus Owners manual. On page 127 under Roadside Emergencies it describes the fuse panel under the dash by the brake pedal. Most probable cause; the wires are cut in the rubber tube (accordian shape) near the hinge at the trunk, seen this many times !

Probably the steering wheel is locked, try forcing the steering wheel left or right while turning the key !

This could be one of two things. The test that you need to do to see what it is: Before you stop, shift to neutral and see if it stalls. If it does not stall then it is a transmission problem. The transmission is not letting go of the engine. This is most likely from a torque converter problem or a sift valve. If it does stall then it could be something related to a vacuum leak in the brake booster or a short in the cruise control.

I looked through the owner's manual and did not see a specific fuse for the seat belts. but here is the info for you: Passenger compartment fuse panel The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Remove the CD stowage box to access the fuses. What does "evaporator is working" mean ?Are the compressor and radiator fan running ?Is the system full of freon ?

this is usually controlled by vacum look for a broken or leeking vacum line
