This problem might be a short circuit in the "clockspring' device that is in the steering wheel. That is pretty easy to replace and not real expensive. Youtube vids show how to do this.

Okay so I have a problem on my Dodge journey that it blows hot air and we checked the relays and the fans and then do turn on but the compressor doesn't kick on at all.. ran out of options .. can anyone help
