Need new heaters for the starting ,as for the emmisions light then this is another problem ,on the exhaust is a NO2 filter abd its blocking up ,whet you need to do is add a bottle of diesel injector cleaner ,dont read the instructions just add a bottle to half a tank of fuel or more and then drive at legal speed limit for half hour or so and this should clear it out if it doesnt ,wait till fuel level goes down and refill and another bottle it will clear the filter out eventually .Now if the heaters dont cure the starting then fit a non return valve on the fuel inlet pipe as well

If you are in the UK get one from ebay.

If the voltage is back there and you have a good ground, lamp should work. If not the lamp is defective.

It sounds like the bearing in it shot return it and have them test it

Check the chassis earth from the battery try turning the engine over with a breaker bar on the crankshaft pully nut if it won't move remove spark plugs or injectors if a diesel and try again. In case of a water locked cylinder good luck

Purchase a service manual; or contact the parts department of the auto dealership and ask them to print out the schematic and removal instructions to the dashboard....

You would need to take the pannel off to get to the internal part of the mechanism. Something has broken or come apart in the opening mechanism. I'd let it go if considering replacing.
