This is a communication cod that corresponds to the throttle motor. The proper way to diag. this is with a DSO and to view the waveform of the communication going to the throttle motor. (see attached information.
Are you saying the engine is overheating? If so, check out the cooling system (particularly the fluid, fluid level and thermostat). It is possible the temperature sensor failed again (maybe a wiring problem, incorrect or cheap sensor), but more likely the cooling system temperature is very close to the setting of the sensor, and depending on driving conditions, temperature could be bouncing up and down around the sensor setpoint.
Two different problem. First problem cooling fans check for power at connect, then use a power prob and see if fans start. Need a Chilton repair Manuel to see how to do this.

These things never change. Those plastic nuts are threaded and hold the center cap on. Try spinning them on, like your trying to tighten them up. When they stop spinning, it's because they are all the way on. From what I've seen in the past, nothing else holds the cap. But like you explained, it doesn't make sense why it won't come off. I pulled the same caps and wheels off one in a scrap yard and put them on my '75 4x4 8 lug. They came right off. I've changed tires on a "02 and same. No problem.
You can't, without a bypass kit and the orginal key or resister value to use in the bypass kit. The theft system on the truck is a VATS system that uses a resister in the key that must match the resister value in the computer to start the car. No resister match, no start. The kit eliminates the resister key by hard wiring the resister permanently in the vehicle. You still will need the key to mechanically unlock the steering column and turn the ignition cylinder.
Computers rarely just die. If so it is a very tricky undertaking. It can destroy an engine if not properly installed and flashed by a professional mechanic. Nine times out of ten it won;t even let the vehicle start. They are not universal fits and require flashing with software to work correctly. What makes u think something is wrong with your computer? I have no details so I can't give you a reliable answer.
