Having problems starting my Chevy hhr

I'd have to make sure the battery has a full charge. Then go from there. The fact that a few electricals work doesn't mean the battery has a full charge. Next, I'd have to check your starter and make sure the engine isn't trying to seize.

After attempting to jump start my Chevy hhr it would not jump start.after installing a new battery, the car started, but the power steering no longer worked. How do I repair it?

Check the fuse for the electric steering. If the fuse is good the steering module may have lost its settings when the battery was disconnected. May need to have it reprogrammed..

No power after replacing battery terminals? did i short something out? blow a fuse?

Hi Scott, when you say you replaced the battery terminals do you mean the wire connection to the battery? And now there is no live power to anything...dash, lights, horn, radio? If so then the it is most likely the terminals are not making a good contact....check the negative terminal first!

The clunking noise is now a grinding noise in the front driver side. I am told that it is a part attached to the steering box component.

Get it to a reputable suspension shop to have it checked out,if it was said a part on the steering then you don't want to risk losing steering when the worn parts break.Speculating it could be tie rods, sway bar links, ball joints, bushings etc etc everything that moves when you hit the bumps.

Water leaking under dash

THE WATER IS CONDENSATION FROM THE AC EVAP. THE DRAIN HOSE TO THE OUTSIDE IS PROBABLY CLOGGED. IT IS USUALLY LOCATED ON THE FIREWALL NEAR THE AC LINES GOING INTO THE INTERIOR AND IS A SHORT ELBOW SHAPED RUBBER HOSE. IT MUST BE CLEANED. TRY USING A SMALL BOTTLE BRUSH THAT IS FLEXIBLE OR SOMETHING SIMILAR

WHERE IS THE TCM LOCATION

Your TCM should be in the front of the engine compartment on the left side, sort of behind the driver's headlight. There is a cluster of electronic parts. The largest box is the ECU, behind that is the second largest box. That is your TCM. There are two big wire bundle connectors on the ECU, and one wire bundle connector on the TCM. The TCM is usually pretty durable, so if you are having problems with it, check to make sure the plugs on the TCM and the ECU are all plugged in tightly, and none of the wires in the bundles are loose where they attach to the plug. Anything beyond that should be done by a mechanic who is familiar with the system.
