Power door locks wont work on chevy colorado 2005
I really doubt one loose door latch will keep all the door locks from working . There are a lot of thing's involved in the power door locks ,relay's , wiring , master control switch etc..... Viewing wiring diagrams , testing electrical circuit's , PWR LOCKS 20A fuse etc....Are the power door locks and the driver power window inoperative?
Did you review the Power Door Locks Description and Operation?
YES - Go to Step 2
NO - Go to Symptoms - Doors

Verify that the power door locks are inoperative.
Do the power door locks operate normally?
YES - Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring System
NO - Go to Step 3

Are the power door locks and the driver power window inoperative?
YES - Go to Step 7
NO - Go to Step 4

Are the power door locks inoperative from a single door lock switch?
YES - Go to Step 5
NO - Go to Step 6

Is the driver door lock switch the inoperative switch?

Is the driver door lock actuator the inoperative actuator?
Test the battery positive voltage circuit of the drivers switch assembly for a short to ground or an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
