if it will not rev high , it could be in the limp mode or the rev limiter has failed find what the code refers to and fix the fault

Other things to check:

1. Spark plug wires;
2. Fouling of spark plugs;
3. Fuel condition (may have contamination);
4. Static timing;
5. Readout of codes from ECU;
6. Pressure at the fuel rail (to rule out fuel delivery issues).

Is the coolant level full? Only check with the engine off and cooled down. Top off if low and recheck. Heat is the first thing you will lose if coolant is low.

This is often a case of either stripping 20 other things off to get to them or you need a 'Specialist' tool. What is blocking your access to the bolts? Radiators and parts like air filter boxes are usually reasonably easy to remove and refit if that is the access issue. I'm assuming you've tried using one or more flexy joints to get at them from an angle?
