Did you pull on the wires ? Is the PCM - engine computer near the headlamp you replaced ? They may share a common ground . Check body grounds , Do you know what these are ? Black wires with metal eyelets bolted to the body under the hood in engine compartment !

What's the voltage reading at the battery with the engine running ? 13 to 14.1 volts ? If not, it's not charging .Sounds to me like it's not charging ! Is there battery voltage at the heavier gage wire on the back of the alternator ? Does the battery symbol light on the dash work ?

in most vehicle you would have to remove the inside door panel to gain access to the screws holding the mirror from inside the door..

Look under the hood in the engine compartment an see if there is fuel leaking from a fuel hose or fuel pressure regulator . The gas smell will be stronger under the hood ! If you don't find anything I would take to a repair shop before it catches fire an burns up !

How you start you car used to depend on were you lived and what the average temperature is. Gasoline is tempers for the environment. Gas in the North during winter is more volatile the in the south. and so it all depends on what is in the tank and what is the temperature. so if you filled up in the summer or you are low on gas then you have several possibilities. You could have water in the tank if you are less then full, since the pump pulse off the bottom of the tank, if you have water in the tank you might be feeding only water to the engine, if you filled up in the summer and live up north you might have the wrong gas mixture and this would be hard to fire. Also you battery might not really be that strong and you might not be turing over fast enough to catch. take your pick best of luck

Stand in front of the car, open the hood, and face the engine. On the left hand side of the radiator, at the top, is the upper radiator hose; which goes to the upper water pump connection. On the right hand side of the radiator, from the bottom, is the lower radiator hose; which goes to the lower water pump connection.

Where is the lower radiator hose 99 It is a forum and goes on about draining the radiator.

low on coolant or clogged heater core. if coolant is nasty could be clogged. if low you have a leak.

check to see if the reverse light works off of the one that works. trace the wires. and the tag light may be part of the circuit too. be sure to check your grounds across the back. problem might be where the one that is working is coming out and going to the other one. make sure the sockets aren't burnt up. check power before the socket and look for ground also.

Get a code scanner and check for the error codes (DTCs) - they will show you what's wrong.

have the fuel pressure checked with a gage as if its the fuel pump not functioning properly can cause this problem. also if you have anti-theft on the car it may have activated for some reason and needs to be reset.

The gas gauge is off. The buzz you hear is you fuel pump the pump is a assembly and is quickly draining out.Now for this to stay in first gear and not shift and speed gauge doesnt work. Lets fix that.when the fuel pump works it pressurize the line,it does this so you dont get what they used to call in carburator lines vapor lock. because your loosing fuel and taking in air you now have vapor lock (hence the buzz) fuel isnt pressurized and you are just getting enough to accelerate. so when you turn you run out of fuel and stall at this point .Avoid uphills ,then you ll stall uphill and turns. okay for the speedometer to go out ,Thefuel sending unit recieve a ground resistor value in the gauge you have what they call a voltage regulator in the dash, this regulator does exactly what it means there it displays temperatur value and gas level a change resistant value now short the speedometor and it shorts it out and flat lines it.

If your refering to the anti theft on the radio you have to either call the dealership or go there and get the reset code,you could also.look up anti theft reset on cadillac wensite and might be able gat it on that hope this helps you
