Petrol in the cylinder can be caused by a badly leaking injector as well. Check for spark in the other cylinders. If no spark there, it can be the anti theft system shutting the engine off. Check for fuel pressure. Remove the air filter cartridge and spray some starter fluid in the intake. If the engine tries to start, you may have a fuel pressure problem (pump or clogged filter)

Could be cam shaft sensor or crank shaft sensor first comes first diagnostics to see codes but bmw come up with loads of codes that arnt the problem.

Yes, it could be the door switches.If the door switches aren't on the B pillar, then they are within the door lock mechanism and you will have to remove the inner door skin to get to them.

The unity can be dissasembly, and make troubleshooting, diagnose.I can recommend you to go the repair shop. When the switch is NOT open they NOT send the signal to the SYSCON(CPU) or microcontroller.God bless you
