they had a recall to reprogram the seat sensor for weight problem check if the reprogramming was done then they have a recalibration procedure if this was done as well if all else fails it is possible that the seat sensor is defective but it is exspensive to replace sometimes its cheaper to go to the scrap and replace the bottom part of the seat of corse with the same colour of seat for sure the seat not calculating properly disactuates the system

If you have to jump a car once, then you need to stop & do some testing to find some problem,anything,make that repair & continue on Jumping a battery is almost an unsafe practice,it can ruin the car electronics ,the battery in time & is never a fix for anything
