Could be a belt, could be almost anything, !

Bring to a technician and have them check for trouble codes.

Not really enough information to give a fix.

Read your owners manual

You have a system fault

Have a shop check for codes & look up your
vehicles systems & work on the problem

you have a incar sensor causing a code in the system if you want to fix fast just unplug battery for 15 mins and you will reset system but dont leave keys in car and windows up because can lock doors when plug battery back if it keeps flashing after all done then the sensor could be defective or a electric vent motor not working properly

Usually the cabin air filter is located under the dash, under the glove compartment.

old post. but ill try.for others.
no spark , by WHAT MEANS, test spark plug or DTC codes
just a clue here , really helps. no spark tell me not much.

the V6, 2.5L ???? lots of years, and some have radially different
park systems. (2.0L v6 is case in point)
ill answer for 99 GV , USA. No country stated. so.... ham strung.
now i must look up what coil pack yours has, mine has 6 COPS
would be nice if you said COPS or I have 8 coils.
as some have wasted spark with only 3 coils in a brick.
i go to alldata.com, so can you.
i click spark pages.
H25 engine.
has 6 cops. in 1999 here, just like my 04 (igitors are in the COPS)

no spark using a real test new spark plug ,gapped correctly
at 2 coils. 3pin COPs. do not use wrong type COPs. or blow up ECU.
  1. lost 12v to both dead cops
  2. ECU bad. driving both. (or wires to it)
  3. lost ground conn. to those 2 COPS.
  4. Connectors on those 2 are corroded. (3 pins)
  5. The boots on both are full of carbon tracking and are shorted. a very common fail on old COPS. i buy new boots, they are like $15 not $75 to 150 each full cop.

COP means, COIL over PLUG.(spark plug)

my answers only cover USA spec cars....

did you test he cop boots off, cop?????
can be done.
(hands in pocket test or you glow like a June bug or worse)
100,000 volts there, open circuit, not fun to get NAILED.
been so , 100s of times.but not on HEI, only once. never again.

old post
the fuse boxes are 1 in cab and 1 in the engine bay
the A/C has 2 blowers,
one in the front of car, condensor blower.
and one in the heater cab blower.
both have fuses.
why is only a matter of using the schematic and a voltmeter
to see where the voltage fails.

does the A/C work at all
does the heater fan work?
need full evidence to go to exact cause. easy

Suzuki Grand... | Answered on May 01, 2014

from where,?
location is everything, try be exact.

lost your operators guide?

double posted to wrong forum,
if you are serious with DIY work, why not buy the FSM for your bike
and read the page called spark generation.
its all there. read it,
you never posted make, model , year or engine, nor country sold.
so there will be no answers, and for sure on Truck forum.
Vitara is a truck not a bike.

on most motor cycles, (I restore them too)
the old bikes can have 2 parts, a CKP sensor and a coil.
either can fail , and the coil can be bench tested easy.
saving the guess work. ask.
the newer bikes, (no year stated) have EFI.
EFI works like this.

CMP +CKP sensors>>>> ECU>>> ignitor>>>>coil
on bikes like this you connect a scan tool and crank
it will tell you what is bad if its CMP or CKP sensors bad.
saving 1/2 the guess work.
then test coil , if coil ok.
then the ignitor is bad.
or use a scope, i use a scope and go right to the cause. direct.

like all cars and bikes, the tools you have, solve the problem fast.
if no tools , then GUE$$
or get it fixed.

wrong forum this is Suzuki, not bikes.?
post to your bike class for best answers. and 100x faster
no starts, or no crank?
if it cranks and dont start then , check spark next.
all gas engines, same, only (what makes spark and fuel change)

Suzuki Grand... | Answered on Apr 30, 2014

now that makes this hard, no? my only clue is the body shell.

why not post the DTC error , not your interpretations?
on newer cars there are up to 5 or more EGR DTCs.
the exact dtc or the lack of some , tell the FULL STORY.
for example on newer cars there is EGR feedback readings.

btw: i own a 04GV and have 100%+ documentation on it and can fix any EGR fail on any car made, sure can. GEN1 , to GEN now.
but need more INFO.

Suzuki Grand... | Answered on Apr 23, 2014

you failed to say, does crank, when it don't start?
and btw, the fuel pump on most cars only run cranking or running
some run for 3 seconds, key on, but you'd miss that fact. using
only one person.
the key word here is crank, does it crank as full speed, via the cranking starter motor. that is the engine cranks spins fast.
on this car it will spin min 250 RPM, cranking, and uses large
battery current , so on diesels it takes a very strong battery to start
and working glow plugs.
