ah, how to tow a suzuki,
well that car has a year, and not stated.
and comes in 2wd or 4wd , 4speed auto, and 5 speed stick
and rules diffr.
so....... gee.
flat to or Dolley.
gee 5?
Ill now teach you why in few words,
the rear if the 2 tranmissions (both the transfer case)
and both main gear boxes do not like being towed due to rear bearings are run dry this way, a fact.
so short distance ok,
and gee you never said 5 miles or 3000 miles. so, gee 6
my 84 to 2004 , we most start car and run the gear box every 2oo miles with flat RV tow.
in 4wd, transfer case in neutral and main box in 1st.
these act relubes the dry gear for 200 more miles.
tell year, and the book pages are free.
shows all 4 modes of tow, and all boxs. in the operators guide. plain as day/

you meant axle lube,
axles run GL5 hypoid gear lube, GL means Gear lube.
Extreme pressure lube,EP.
and is sold in all stores and in different weights, (VI)(by climate)
some axles have LSDD, limited slip option and needs and additive for the clutch packs inside or will be damaged, if not.
we cant guess what your car option were day one.
but if you go to suzuki ,they have records on what you got day one.

i guess you lost the operators guide, that in fact matched your exact car, and ITS options.
why not just get car serviced and let the mechanic check all that out for you. for sure LSDD facts.

I hand to use 2 D's because the word is profane here.
silly nanny bull.
Limited slip Differentials.

washer jets could be blocked try a drawing pin to clean them. As for limp mode you should have engine management light on if you do use obd scanner for fault code.

omg, (i guess you meant engine stalls?)
i guess, story is , engine stalls.
(makes chain noises?)
then you reset 340s, and it repeats.

340s can mean ,
bad wires to CMP.
or the cam chain is loose causing the CMP to bounce
the ECU on this car will dump 340s for 1 misfire in 10

so if it has gross chain issues, or VVT (is it VVT, nah VVT that is J20b) (google VVT)

340s means , cmp dead
means its bouncing.
or wires to CMP damage.

is the chain noise being ignored, I cant hear it.
4 new cops, that was an expensive gue$$.
340s means, that the CMP shows wild errors
and compared to the CKP, that is what it means, in simple clear English.

know how spark is generated?
the CMP tells ecu which cylinder is firing
1 to 4 and for injection firing.
the CKP tells the ecu when TDC happens #1(exactly)
together they are the precursors to spark (inputs)
the ECU drives, spark.
if CMP or CMP lie, every there will be no accurate spark ever. (lie = signals weak, distorted, dropouts or pulsing wrong in any way)
Yours IS...

the ECU also watches the relation ship of CKP and CMP sensors.
CKP is a coil mag senor
CMP is HALL sensor or optical, (i forget which)
but does not matter, what matters are clear signals.
if they show contradictions, The ECU dumps DTC errors for one or both.
if the chain is loose, you will get sensor errors.
it's a fact. on all EFI engines. (with 1 or 2 sensors)

no mileage stated on engine.!
100k. 300k , 500k? miles>

on this engine,
CMP is behind left rear cam, DOHC.
the CKP is behind flywheel where you will never touch.. (trans off, and fly must be removed,)

the CKP is usually dead accurate all the time
so if the CAM jogs, (loose chain) the ecu sees that fast. Seems to me your CKP is OK. btw.
and reports it, but is not AI level of smarts.
all it can tell you is the relationships are failing. (on new cars the errors are called
INCONGRUITY. (not as expected)
the ECU models both sensors in memory and knows what to expect at all times. including normal RPM accelerations. but not drop out. or
with bad jittering chain, pulse SKEW, way off.
no more than that.

see next post for why not to remove the CMP main body after year 2003 !
with full photos seen on all links.
last link is best. (DLC facts)

every town, state,country different.
its called a "free market"

Did you check for B+ voltage at the wires connected to the alternator ? Could have a blown fuse or fusible link . Go to http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams . Fill in your vehicle info .under system click on engine then under subsystem click on charging system . Look at diagram to see which wire has power an what fuse powers it etc. There are some good videos on youtube on checking charging system .

Look in your car's owner's manual (in the glove compartment) to see what the light means and it should tell you what to do or what not to do.

Suzuki Grand... | Answered on Mar 24, 2016

Take the car and test the brakes and make sure that the ESP and ABS is working correctly. The safe way is to do it on an proper test track and make sure your car is safe. The next step is then to check all the sensors, brake pads and ABS sensors.
Don't take short cut with this and make sure your car is safe. Good luck and stay safe.

Suzuki Grand... | Answered on Mar 18, 2016

wow no year car, now that is a challenge , no?
abs is first.
first- first are brakes.
abs stuck on key on and running full time right?
so check brakes for damage or worn out.
brake fluid level not falling? look yet? look when checking oil every time.
abs can not work on cars with bad brakes, (its not god like)
then check for ABS sensor damage and its wires. under car.
then scan the ABS. got errors, sure you do.
but what? you didnt scan it first.
or read the manual> RTM?
its only 4 bucks to read it.

posted over 200 times, this.

answer year and read.

Suzuki Grand... | Answered on Mar 14, 2016

why ask this with not 1 symptom posted.
Ect ,engne
a/c overheat
dash gauge,
transmission overheat sensor.
nor can i guess your engine,
my guess, the 2.7L engines, H27 is suz, real name.
knowing that one fact you google that all day
common in usa GV, not else where, lots more...

here most of these parts
for engine.

ECT,is located seen above.
on the rear of engine
the bank 1 to bank 2 cross pipe.
its there.
measures true engine coolant temperaturs, ECT
if it reads too hot with scan tool its not bad
its the thermostat bad,
only rarely does the ever fail.....in truth.

why not post symptoms and not guess. parts

Suzuki Grand... | Answered on Jan 10, 2016

working right means zero
we know that, or you;d not be here, LOL !
the car has an automatic, mines 5speed stick
i sold min, suzuki is dead car company here .....
my wild wild guess
charge system died
battery died driving, as all do ,like that
then instead of changing it ,you bought a new battery
and not this repeats.
what is the problem,, charge system failure
why not charge the battery
drive to any shop and get it fixed correctly
