If it has an adjustment, it will be at the side of the headlight unit. Modern cars have the pattern built into the lens with no adjustment.

If engine light is on, get the error codes out and it should be more definitive. Possibly a maf sensor?

The amount of electronics on your vehicle is over whelming , the messaging between computers on serial data networks ! If you knew the half of what happens when you turn you key to start your vehicle you wouldn't even try messing with it . Your still under warranty , take it to the dealer .

I accidently turn mine on once in awhile. You can check your owner's manual, but the downgrade light is turned on by the switch on the side of the shifter handle. I believe it keeps the transmission from shifting into a higher gear, so the engine is basically used for braking while going downhill.

I have a 2012 Escape with the 4cyl engine. The water (coolant) pump is located on the front of the engine. This would be on the passenger side of the car. Towards the front, on the passenger side, the top pulley is an idler, the next one down is the water pump. And yes, the lower radiator hose does attach to the engine right behind the water pump. The 6cyl Escape may be different.

Could be leaves and detritus blocking the ventilation air box water drains. Could be, if the car has a sunroof, the water drain from the sunroof trough. There is generally four drainpipes - running from each corner of the sunroof trough to each corner of the floor of the passenger compartment. When I service a car I open the sunroof and pour a jug of water into the trough to ensure all four are clear. They sometimes become blocked, perished or dislodged from the outlets onto the ground. If the water source isn't really easy to discover it is almost certain to be really difficult. With body water ingress there is hardly any happy medium.

woow just put the nozzle in the neck, now if its hard to go in you may have a problem with the ventilation valve or a bend in the hose and make sure the neck is clear, and check to see if it has a roll over valve sometime they stuck close and will cause a back up

Look for fuse that is labeled AUX power.

Check your fuel relay.

Make sure you are getting good spark out of the wires themselves.
