Except for the 2004's, every year of Chevy Aveo can come in either 14- OR 15-inch rims, but they don't come in both. They put on 185/60's instead of 185/55's. This defines the profile height of the tire. So yes, it is slightly "taller" (by about 9.25 mm). Yes it is the wrong tire for that car. It should have either: 1) 185/55-15 OR 2) 185/60-14. (Note: Some people will up-size and put 185/60-15 all the way around, but that is the owner's choice; obviously not yours). Do NOT allow them to mix the tires under any case. It can cause handing problems and will not allow you to rotate the tires properly (though you only bought two). Be a strong consumer and demand satisfaction.

There is a switch behind the brake pedal that is not functioning. There should be a little port near your shifter marked "Shift Lock Release" or something similar. Pry off the cover and insert your key. Engage your parking brake. Remove the key and proceed to start your car. You will need to do this for every start until you replace the faulty switch. I had this happen to me last year. The switch cost me $5.

After the repair has been made to correct whatever is wrong the technician will reset the light with an OBD2 scan tool. Due to how hazardous it is to work on the SRS it is not a DIY repair. You can more than likely reset the light by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes but unless you repair the problem that caused the light to come on it will, in time, come back on. It is worth a try to be sure it is not just a glitch in the system so I would try the battery disconnect before taking it to a professional for repair.

The SRS systems are usually designed to go off in a frontal impact. There are 2 sensors that need inertia on the same plane to make contact and set off the system. My guess is that she did not hit anything at the correct angle to set off the system. It will not deploy when hit from the sides or rear of the car. An air bag will only increase your survivability by 4% over a lap belt/shoulder harness which gives you about 44% in an otherwise fatal accident. Lesson is always wear your belts. And say a prayer to thank god she is alive.

Find a place that clean remove as much as part in order as you can. oil pan drop it transmission pan drop it battery remove and keep thing clean as possible. starter intake everything fan power pump and radiator than you can remove hood and get a lift for engines and unbolt the trans than the motor mounts

Lights that are flashing mean... Stop driving this car.... You are going to screw up something that will cost you big bucks.. $1000+ on newer cars. You can get around, but the longer you drive it the worse it will get. have the codes read and repost.

I'm not familiar with that vehicle but some newer models don't have dipsticks to check the transmisson fluid. They are sealed systems and the only wasy to check them is to remove the fill plug from the transmission itself.

(legal) check fuses yet? does the check engine light come on key on, and go out driving, if the CEL sticks on running there IS A PROBLEM. scan the PCM, best practice is to scan always.
