Check your owners manual for where the fuse/relay block locations and there is usually a diagram that will tell you which relay is for what function. There are usually a fuse block under the hood and one inside the vehicle somewhere.

check the battery conections + and - cheers

I would check oil level by the dipstick and top up if needed, I would say ok to continue but drive at a steady speed and lookout for any other warning lights as you say it's the monitoring system not the oil pressure

That is an ABS code. The only advice I can give u is have is scanned to find out what is causing, WHAT I THINK, is to find out why the Front wheel is locking up causing the ABS code. Good Luck

Check all fuses and fuseable links, which are those box style fuses with clear tops. When a fuse able link blows, the truck won't start ive run in to this on a couple of DIIs in the past.

Since the fan is a electronic clutch, the ECM will control when the fan turns on and off. The ECM will also monitor coolant temp, fan speed and engine rpm to calculate the correct engagement of the fan. The ECM will store a p0480 Fan error if the computer sees a problem. Take note of when the A/C is on. When the A/C is on, this fan is required to run more frequently to cool the condenser.

This is usually a problem with rover's MOST network. This is the fiber optic 'network' in which all the audio and entertainment modules "talk" to each other. The problem with the network is once one of the modules goes offline the entire network is down. You can disconnect the negative battery terminal cable for 10 minutes or leave your vehicle off for about one hour. That will hard reset all of the modules.

CAN bus link with EAT ECU Timed out - turns on CEL This means the Data link between engine computer and tranny computer may not be talking to each other. Perhaps dirty cable connections, poor wire grounding, etc.

Do a full reset and disconnect your hot lead from the battery for a while (20-30 mins) to reset all of the computers. Next check for voltage AT the headlights with switch in the on position. If no power, I would still suspect the relay or a fuse

Check your battery voltage and put the battery on a charger to make sure it's fully charged. Next , check the ECUs behind the battery and connectors for any corrosion / water damage. Also, check for the possibly a height sensor issue. Visually inspect all the sensor arms etc for damage and wiring/ plugs too. If the compressor is on the way out you will get different codes usually and warnings like 'vehicle raising slowly' .

remove the hot wire from the battery for a minute and then reconnect and try again.....it will reset the computer

Sounds like the alarm may have been triggered. Try a hard reset and disconnect battery for 20-30 minutes.

Most modern vehicles have the washer bottle tucked away in a 'spare' space. The Evoque has it tucked behind a headlight so to get at it the front bumper and headlight will have to be removed. I agree that its easier to pay someone else to do it!
